Rebecca is an experienced person-centred, trauma-informed psychotherapist. She is an accredited member of the BACP and holds a Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy awarded by the University of Salford. Her own mental health experiences brought her to a career in therapy, understanding how the right professional support can catalyse long awaited change, and essential self-awareness towards resilience and recovery. Her clinical experience has been developed within the third sector in sexual violence, and LGBTQI+ focused services.
Additionally, Rebecca has completed the Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE-CfD) qualification, a specialised, evidenced-based, humanistic approach endorsed within NHS talking therapies services to support individuals struggling with depression. This training deepened Rebecca’s ability to work relationally with an essential focus on embodied awareness, dovetailing neatly with her interest in somatic healing from trauma and her passion for restoring client authenticity and empowerment through therapeutic connection.
Rebecca is one of our Tele-Health Support Team.
